ROTHERHAM, MARCH 2014
BUDGET: £5-10k
A garden makeover including a stand-out water feature with some quirky additions to the project.
We were tasked with transforming a standard suburban garden into a peaceful haven that was easy to maintain. The client was keen to adopt a minimal approach, with a design that complemented a new sculpture they wanted to be the focal point of the garden. The client wanted to keep their existing bar at the bottom of the garden and ensure that there was easy access.
Our first job was to construct the structure of the new garden, clearing earth and laying the foundations for the new path, pond and water feature. Once the ornamental waterfall feature was built and underwater LED lighting installed, the path was laid and the decking constructed. Finishing touches of new artificial turf and plants completed the project, along with the new Gorilla sculpture.
The garden has been transformed. The different sections of lawn, paths and decking add interest to what was a standard garden. The contrast with the colour of the artificial grass means that the Indian Stone paving and water feature stands out, and the flowing water adds a peaceful ambience to the garden.
